There is a new dawn rising on the Canadian Music Scene’s Horizon !!

We are proud to announce the arrival of Cashbox Magazine Canada.

Meet the Cashbox Team Canada

That’s right - the legendary Cashbox Magazine, dating back to its conception in the United States in 1948 is finally here in Canada. Known for ‘Charting’ record releases and coining the phrase ‘With a Bullet’ Cash Box Magazine saw a change in 2006 when a group of musicians salvaged the retiring magazine from its original owners. Cashbox Magazine is now one of the largest internet music websites with listeners and contributors worldwide. We at CashBox Canada are proud to be part of this growing musical family. Allow me introduce ourselves, we are as you are, lovers of music as well as participants in the Entertainment Industry.

BILL DELINGAT C.E.O who heads up “the Beat” of Cashbox Canada, graduated from the Ontario College of Percussion in the 60’s when music and fashion ruled. After playing in numerous groups in Canada and abroad, Bill went on to work as the Entertainment Director in some of the biggest nightclubs and live theatres in Canada:

Klub Dominos: Canada’s first New Wave and Punk club.

Spectrum Nightclub:
On it’s opening in the 80’s as one of the Big 4 dance clubs with a capacity of over 1500 with a high tech light show.

La Cage Dinner Theatre:
Located in the heart of the downtown theatre district, “An Evening at La Cage” was based loosely on the film of the same name and a Las Vegas concept – it was noted as one of the longest running dinner theatre shows in Canada, only beat by the never ending run of ‘Mouse Trap.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Heaven
This is where Bill Delingat and Sandy Graham first teamed up. Next up to bat replacing the La Cage run was a story based on “The day the Music Died” featuring live impressions of The Big Bopper, Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens, along with a young Elvis and a beautiful Marilyn Monroe. Audiences embraced this musical trip down memory lane until the curtain was finally closed by the expansion of the flagship location of the Hard Rock Café Toronto.

Tropicana Dinner Theatre: The first of its kind to bring authentic Cuban dance and music troupes direct from the famous Tropicana Havana Show, Cuba. Independent Concert Productions: Having been a Tour Director for Galeforce Dance for ICP Bill recently has joined back with the company to assist in their newest production “Echoes of Ireland” written by the legendary Frank McCourt of Angela’s Ashes Fame and featuring the music and dance of the International Production “Magic of Ireland”.

Lastly, to add to his list of achievements Bill works at Metro Toronto Convention Centre for one of the largest Event Security Company Target Security, a premier supplier of event security staff, boasting an amazing list of clients from Ex Presidents to Concert Promoters. Target was the official security for “Canadian Idol” as well as “You Think You Can Dance” and has supplied a safe and secure environment for fans attending the “Popes Historic Visit” to the International Auto Show to name a few. Bill Delingat is pleased now to add to his list Cashbox Canada - let the music begin!
