Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone
Cashbox Magazine wishes all our staff and fans a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Our charts will be frozen till January 6, 2008 when they will resume again weekly.
In the interim however we have introduced once again the year end Cashbox Chart winners for 2007. Unlike our competitor our numbers are lower and we included the end of the year. Winning song choices are not based solely on sales and airplay but also include the criteria of: originality, creativity, quality songwriting, performance and production judged by our staff of musicologist, resulting in a limited but accurate chart. This is the first year since 1995 we have done this so hang in there with us, 2008 will be the year of the great Cashbox Magazine.
