Having written and performed with the Safaris, their Top Ten 1960 hit “Image of a Girl” as well as having been the California
Chairman for the National Music Foundation, he pursued his love for music and writing by developing and teaching special
classes in medical terminology where he wrote a book called “Medical Poetry”. With the book having phenomenal success,
this textbook covered the primary medical diagnoses in rhyme and the classes were presented using music, poetry, and
comedy.
Marv has been fascinated with the question of why one person can love a particular song while another person disliked the same song so much they would turn the dial on their radio. His research over the years in the psychology of music has led to interesting findings that have been praised by many psychologists and music industry experts. For the first time, those research results will be presented on Radio through Cash Box Magazine in an exclusive show called the "Music in You." It is an interesting and fun show where you can learn more about yourself based on the songs you like the best. |
