NORTHWEST PORTLAND, OR - Anyone for Radio Russian Roulette? KXJM FM Rose City Radio switches from Rhythmic "Jammin' 95.5" to Sports-Talk "95.5 The Game" and lassos John Canzano away from RCR sister station News-Talk KXL-750. On Friday night May 9th, CBS Radio snatches the Rhythmic beat and puts in on KVMX FM ("Movin' 107.5") Portland-Banks, OR. Former KXJM "Jammin'" wake-up show "PK's Playhouse" crosses the street to KVMX. Current KVMX "Movin'" Program Director Lisa Adams handles the new "Jammin' 107.5, Hits and Hip-Hop". On Monday, May 12, 2008 KXL reels in Premiere Radio Networks Glenn Beck syndicated show to fill Canzano's former 6-9pm (PT) spot.

WEST COAST
LOS ANGELES
- On December 29, 2006, Radio One moves its Urban format to "The New V-100, The Best Variety of R&B". In 2008, Bonneville buys KRBV FM ("V100") and names Peter Burton VP/GM and Dave Beasing as Program Director. The KRBV Web site bids fairwell: "Thank you for being a V100 loyal listener! We are sorry we had to go, but acknowledge and appreciate your support". In April, 2008, "V100" switches to AAA "The Sound". Long ago, the call letters are KFOX-FM which is the sister to Country KFOX-1280 in Long Beach, CA. Over the years there are several format switches and call letter changes. In 1973, as KIQQ FM ("K100"), KHJ heavyweights Bill Drake and Gene Chenault arrive to program and manage the frequency. The addition of former KHJ powerhouse DJs Robert W. Morgan and The Real Don Steele brings no success because of programming differences. And so it goes in our beloved radio.
